The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attended today in the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Mostar, the holy bishop’s liturgy, which was served by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije.

The President of the Republic said that the Cathedral is a mythical building for the Serb people in Herzegovina and that it is very important to provide funds for the completion of this sanctuary.

“This is a mythical building for the Serb people in Herzegovina, the entire Serbian Orthodox Church, one of the largest temples ever built by the Serbian Orthodox Church. That is why it is important that we are here today”, said the President Dodik.

The President of Srpska emphasized that this is an indication of meeting, gathering, strength, to restore this holy place that was destroyed in a criminal act by the Croatian defense forces and Muslims.

“I believe that this day is important since His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Porfirije is here, but also because, I believe, we will provide all the additional necessary funds to finish this temple as foreseen in the project and for it to be handed over to our believers, the believing people. I am glad to see many people here who have come to be together”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.
