Ceremonial reception on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China
The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attended tonight’s reception held in Sarajevo by Chinese Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ji Ping on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that today China is increasingly becoming the most important financial and investment partner of Srpska.
The President Dodik pointed out that he respects China and its efforts to establish a new multipolar world in global relations, which is aimed at cooperation between states and peoples without jeopardizing their sovereignty and territorial integrity and without interfering in internal affairs.
“We respect the Chinese state and people, all the achievements they achieved with the enormous sacrifice of many who found the synergy within themselves to build a powerful nation and state. That should be respected”, said the President Dodik on the ceremonial reception.
The President of the Republic emphasized that China is aimed at expanding cooperation with all other countries without any political conditions and is the antithesis of what the West is, where every kind of conversation, aid, support or lending comes with political conditions.
As the President Dodik pointed out, this cannot be seen from the Chinese side because it does not exist.
The President of the Republic emphasized the dedicated relationship and support for the projects the Republic of Srpska is working with China through the “Belt and Road” initiative, stating that the construction of the Thermal Power Plant in Stanari is the first project implemented in the Republic of Srpska within the framework of that initiative.
“We are discussing many issues and today China is increasingly becoming our most important financial and investment partner”, it was concluded by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
