President of the Republic of Srpska meets in Washington with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney


The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney in Washington today.

The current political situation in BiH as well as the regional security challenges were discussed during the working dinner with Congresswoman Tenney, who is also a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the American Congress.

On this occasion, the President Cvijanović informed her interlocutor about the attitudes and position of the Republic of Srpska, emphasizing that consistent respect for the Dayton Agreement and the BiH Constitution is a precondition for political stability and efficient functioning of joint institutions.

It was pointed out at the meeting that Srpska is committed to preserving peace and stability, as well as resolving open political issues in BiH through dialogue and respect for the interests of both entities and all three constituent peoples.
