President Dodik presents gold coins to 32 babies born on January 9th


Оn the occasion of celebrating the Day of the Republic, the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik presented a gold coin to 32 babies born on January 9th, pointing out that the arrival of the youngest inhabitants in the world on the day of the birth of the Republic is the most beautiful message and a symbol of the future of Srpska, represented by our children.

The President Dodik also extended sincere congratulations to the happy parents, saying that he received this good news with joy, with the desire to witness together an increasing number of children born in Srpska.

“From the bottom of my heart, I extend my congratulations to the proud parents who got new members of their family, and we got our new residents. I wish them to grow up carefree, in well-being and family happiness, to grow into good people and to be followed by happiness throughout their lives. Our children are our greatest pride, and as the President of Srpska, I am especially happy that on January 9th we have 32 babies born and that I have the opportunity to present them gifts, so that from the day of their birth our children feel the joy of this great day and know that their Republic is full of love for them. With great joy, I will continue this beautiful practice in the coming period.”

At the initiative of the President Milorad Dodik, the Republic of Srpska introduced the practice of awarding gold coins to babies born on January 9th.

On January 9th, 17 girls and 15 boys were born in hospitals across Srpska.

Nine babies were born at the University Clinical Centre of the Republic of Srpska, seven babies were born at the “Sveti Vračevi” Hospital in Bijeljina, one baby at the Gradiška Hospital, two babies at the Foča University Hospital, three babies at the “Srbija” Hospital in East Sarajevo, seven babies at the “Sveti apostol Luka” Hospital in Doboj and three babies were born in Zvornik.
