Meeting with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met today, in Budapest, with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

During the conversation with President Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Srpska initiated the signing of an agreement on cooperation with that Russian republic.

The agreement could be signed in October, during the visit of the President of Srpska to the Russian Federation.

“Srpska will remain persistent in preventing the introduction of sanctions against the Russian Federation by BiH, because Russia and its peoples are our friends”, said the President of the Republic.

The President Dodik informed the President Minnikhanov that Srpska has been refusing for decades for Bosnia and Herzegovina to become a member of NATO.
